Central Illinois Tomato Growers

Think I could be hounding you for lots of advice in the coming months!! Love your blog! Can't wait to get my seeds out either, don't know where I am going to germinate them all tho! Ah well!

    So what kind of wine is your speciality? Must admit, I'm better at drinking it than making it, but farmer John promises to give me his mothers elderflower recipe at some point! Hopefully I can pass on an old Northumbrian secret recipe to you!

Yes,Cold winter weather.Ready to start some seeds in my gardnerssupply thingys.Tried there new ones this year,dont have to transplant.Just harden off,and plant.Wine,Ahhhhhhhhh........Wish ilived closer to you,would let you try a bottle.Haven`t made any for awhile tho.Need to do that,My walk in wine cellar in the basement is getting low.Was over 200 bottles in december.My favorites are Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.That elderflower recipe would be great.Iv`e put those flowers in my peisporter wines before.Take care...........

  3. That sounds like a good way to grow! I'm using mainly single cell propagaters or else just a standard 5" flower pot to sow as well. Seems easier than all this thinning out in seed trays malarky, which seems a bit of a waste of perfectly good plants!

    Would love to try a bottle! Unless of course you squish out the grapes with your toes! (only joking!) Get making some more Mr!
